About Me

My passion is helping people navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, positive change.

My journey has taken me across continents, industries, and life experiences that have shaped how I support others today.

Originally from South Africa, I moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 15 and joined the Royal Navy at 17. During my military service, I worked in demanding environments throughout the Arabian Gulf, Africa, the Caribbean, the UK, and Europe. These experiences taught me the value of resilience, adaptability, teamwork, and staying grounded under pressure.

After leaving the Navy, I worked as a Custody Officer within the Immigration Service in Oxfordshire. For four years, I supported people from diverse cultural backgrounds, often during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. This role deepened my understanding of human behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of compassion.

In 2011, I moved to New Zealand to begin a new chapter. Since then, I have worked primarily within the energy sector across Taranaki and Taupō, including geothermal well operations.

Alongside my professional career, I have remained committed to supporting my community through volunteer work with St John Ambulance and Taranaki Retreat.

Like many people who have worked in high-pressure environments, I have experienced my own mental health challenges. My personal journey of healing and growth led me to explore mindfulness, meditation, and evidence-based approaches to wellbeing. What began as a personal practice has become a passion to give back.

To support others more effectively, I gained formal qualifications in Meditation, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Health Coaching through PreKure.

Today, I combine my life experience, professional training, and genuine passion for helping people to create a safe, supportive space where clients can develop greater self-awareness, process difficult emotions, reduce stress, and reconnect with what matters most.

Whether you are navigating stress, life transitions, personal challenges, or simply seeking greater balance and wellbeing, I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey.

I believe that lasting change begins with awareness, compassion, and the courage to take the first step.

If you'd like to learn more about how I can support you, I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you.
